Description
Classics of Classic SF. Not no much a series, more a number of series and other stories all written within a common universe originally created by Isaac Asimov for his Foundation Stories. Often these were stories and novels written to be independent, stand-alone titles which were only later drawn together into one all-sweeping sequence. This is the oft-quoted reason for the many discrepancies which appear to have slipped in.
Having said that, they all hold together well, and as they also spread from some of Asimov's earliest to some of his latest writings, they all display a great deal of consistancy. Which shows how mature as a writer he was even from an early age.
