Phileas Fogg of London and his newly-employed French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a £20,000 wager set by his friends at the Reform Club.

The book was originally written in french by Verne and an english translation was provided by George Makepeace Towle in 1873. The book had 57 Original illustrations by Alphonse-Marie de Neuville and Léon Benett. Thet are included in the e-text below.
